How Could You Be So Selfieless?

EXT. CHURCH ENTRANCE, SOMEWHERE IN EUROPE – DAY

[A LONE TOURIST, A MAN, STANDS WAITING ON A STREET CORNER AT THE ENTRANCE OF A CHURCH WITH A LARGE MAP IN HIS HANDS, APPARENTLY LOST. AFTER A SHORT WHILE, A WOMAN APPROACHES HIM WITH A CAMERA IN HAND.]

WOMAN: Excuse me?

MAN: Sure, I’ll take your picture.

WOMAN: No. Can you move?

MAN: Sorry?

WOMAN: You’ve been standing here in the road of all the people trying to take a photo of this lovely building. How could you not see us?

MAN: Oh, I was just trying to find …

WOMAN: We don’t care.

MAN: Oh.

[DEJECTED, THE MAN MOVES ON, TO EVENTUALLY STAND ON THE CORNER OF THE STREET. A YOUNG MAN APPROACHES HIM THIS TIME, AGAIN WITH A CAMERA IN HAND.]

MAN 2: Excuse me! Can you move? I’m trying to get a selfie. Some people.

[THE MAN MOVES OVER AGAIN READING HIS MAP. HE CROSSES THE ROAD, STILL TRYING TO WORK OUT WHERE HE IS GOING WHEN HE SUDDENLY GETS HIT BY A BUS. THE BUS STOPS FOR A MOMENT, BEFORE CONTINUING ON. A GIRL WHO IS ABOUT TO TAKE A PHOTO SIGHS IN FRUSTRATION SEEING THAT THE DEAD MAN HAS BLOODIED UP THE ASPHALT.]

THE END.
